Quality Education For Every Child

Campaign Team23 Aug 20261 min read
Making Quality Education and Practical Skills Central to Nigeria’s Development Education should do more than prepare young Nigerians to pass examinations. It should prepare them to think, create, solve problems and build sustainable livelihoods. Nigeria needs an education system that gives every child access to quality teaching, relevant learning materials, technology and safe learning environments. But alongside academic knowledge, students must develop practical skills that prepare them for the realities of work and entrepreneurship. From an early age, young Nigerians should have opportunities to discover their talents and learn skills in areas such as technology, agriculture, engineering, creative industries, vocational trades and entrepreneurship. Teachers must also be properly trained, supported and valued because no education system can rise above the quality of its teachers. The objective should be clear: an education system that produces not just certificate holders, but capable, innovative and confident Nigerians who can create value and contribute meaningfully to national development. Nigeria's greatest resource is its people. Investing in their education and skills is investing in Nigeria's future.
